First Fridays in Phoenix

First Fridays in Phoenix have become The Place to Be Seen, The Place to See Emerging Artists and if you don’t mind crowds and lots of noise and a streetfair atmosphere, a great way to spend a Friday night. This Friday, October 5th, from 6-10 pm at the art one gallery, 1504 grand ave, there will be an amazing show of Blake Britton’s work. He is a sculptor, a funiture maker, a film maker and a homegrown boy who worked at House of Tricks, started school at Awakening Seed in Tempe, and went on to get a MFA from California State University, Chico. His show is called You and What Army and here are some images from the show to give you an idea of what he does. I plan to be there and hope that you will as well.
