Hillary Clinton outdid herself today conceding to Barak Obama. She was gracious, intelligent, and made me realize again how much I admire her. She may have made mistakes in running her campaign or was given advice that didn’t serve her well but as a woman, I am proud to see her reach this pinnacle that will be a marker for women in the future. We all owe her a huge debt–she was able to tell the world that women have the right and the responsibility to govern, to make decisions, to stand up to sexism and show compassion for people from all walks in life.
